Quality Assurance for Research and Third Mission

The Commissions for Research Quality Assurance and for Quality Assurance of the Third Mission play a role in promoting, overseeing, and supporting the Department's quality policies in their respective areas of competence.

Commission for Research Quality Assurance

The Research AQ Commission is composed of:

The research AQ commission:

  • Annually prepares the ministerial SUA-RD form and/or the fields of competence of the departmental Facts and People form;
  • In accordance with the university regulations, annually allocates the University Fund - Departmental Quota among the professors and researchers affiliated with the Department, based on predefined criteria;
  • Assists the Director in drafting the Triennial Programming Document;
  • Constantly monitors the active research activities at the Department and the scientific output of its members;
  • Monitors the scientific activity of research fellows, evaluating their production through bibliometric approaches and conducting periodic hearings.

  • Annually prepares the ministerial SUA-TM/IS form and/or the fields of competence of the departmental Facts and People form;
  • Assists the Director in drafting the Triennial Programming Document;
  • Verifies the impact of Public Engagement initiatives and training activities aimed at high school students and teachers, as well as professionals;
  • Verifies the impact of the provision of high-profile fee-based services and consultancy, periodically assessing the number of services provided and the amount of revenue generated.
