Within the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) - Working Group on Calibration and Validation (WGCV) the subgroup on Land Product Validation (LPV) is focusing on the LAI Intercomparison pilot projects. This activity is an intercomparison of research and operational LAI products, together with an assessment and development of standards for field LAI measurement and scaling.
